Fallsview Casino Resort
The biggest casino hotel in the country sits on the Fallsview ridge above the Horseshoe Falls, and the gaming floor alone is 200,000 square feet by the resort's own figure, with more than 3,200 slot machines and 110 tables. The hotel tower is the one in every postcard of the Niagara skyline; a secondary source puts it at 372 rooms, and the resort's own copy sells the view rather than the count. Two theatres, the 5,000-seat OLG Stage and the 1,500-seat Avalon, give it the busiest concert calendar of any casino hotel in Canada.

Book it if
First-timers who want the full-scale version; concert weekends; anyone who wants to walk to the falls.
Think twice if
Niagara is a tourist town with tourist prices, and the resort publishes almost no numbers about its own hotel.
If you only ever stay at one casino hotel in Canada, this is the one to measure the rest against.
