Two towers, 758 rooms, a 5,000-seat Colosseum and a casino floor that runs over two levels: Caesars Windsor is the Las Vegas idea executed on the Detroit River. The view from the river-facing rooms is the Detroit skyline, which is a better view than most Detroit hotels get. Free 24-hour self-parking in an attached garage is rare for a resort of this size.

The hotel
Forum Tower (389 rooms, 1998) and Augustus Tower (369 rooms, 2008). The indoor pool and whirlpool sit on the second floor of the Forum Tower, and the spa is in the same tower; ask for the Augustus if you want the newer finish, the Forum if you want the shortest walk to the water.
The casino floor
100,000 square feet over two floors, a 14-table poker room open 24/7 and Caesars Sportsbook. Slot and table counts vary wildly between sources, so we do not print one. Entry 19+.
